PROJECT DESCRIPTION :

The project’s scope of work consists of 7 commercial and residential towers ranging from mid to high rise with a maximum of 24 storeys located in Makers District Development, Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. The project includes more than 3,500 square meters (m2) of commercial, food and beverage and retail space as well as a water feature and will be located near The Artery, a hybrid parking garage and one of the developer’s first projects unveiled at the 18-hectare community. Cubic cut-outs in the corners closest to the square will lend the buildings a pixellated appearance – hence the project name, Pixel. These cutouts will provide terraces overlooking the public plaza at the center and the waterfront beyond. The towers will feature “restrained and minimalistic” concrete facades and ceramic-lined interiors.

The project is promoting forward living in what is set to be Abu Dhabi’s new beating heart. The towers are surrounded by quiet pocket gardens and frame a centralized pedestrianized plaza – home to an artisanal mix of food and beverage (F&B), retail spaces, car parking facilities, co-working office spaces and associated facilities.
